He has been kept on life support at MGM Heathcare Hospital.

On August 5, veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam posted a video on Facebook telling fans that Corona was infected. Assured there is no reason to worry. He will recover quickly and return home. However, on Friday, the news came that his physical condition had deteriorated. He was transferred to the ICU on Thursday night. Balasubrahmanyam has been in life support since then.

On the same day, Thalaiva Rajinikanth issued a tweet seeking the recovery of Balasubrahmanyam. In the caption of the video, which was recorded in Tamil, the superstar wrote, “Get well soon, Balu Sir.” Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijayavaskar himself visited the hospital and inspected all the arrangements for the artist’s treatment.
