JAM 2020: Slippery time during the entrance exam

The application deadline for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) entrance exam has been extended. The last day of application has been extended from 15th October to 16th October.

The deadline for the application process for the entrance examination for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore has been extended. The last day of application has been extended from 15th October to 16th October.

If you sit for the exam, you can apply online on jam.iisc.ac.in website. There have been some changes in the examination rules this year. Minimum educational qualifications have been revised and a new paper on economics has been included.

The JAM exam will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021. It is an entrance examination for postgraduate studies in institutions like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research.

M.Sc. For admission in various Masters programs (2 years), including Post Graduate in Economics (2 years), M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D Dual Degree, M.Sc.-MS (Research) / Ph.D. . D. Dual Degree and Other Postgraduate Degree Programs in ILTs (Villai, Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, ISM Dhanbad, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Palakkad, JAM scores are calculated at BHU Varanasi).

JAM is required for admission in Integrated PhD program of IISc Bangalore and for admission in programs of NIT, IIEST Shivpur, SLIET Punjab, and IISER. This year IIT– will admit students in MSc Physics through Mandi Jam score.
