Such an example has been set by Tusharkanti Bhattacharya, MLA of Bishnupur in Bankura. He left the BJP on Friday and joined the Trinamool.

Tusharbabu, who won from Bishnupur as a Left-Congress alliance candidate in the last assembly elections, defeated former Trinamool minister Shyamaprasad Mukherjee. A few months later, he joined the Trinamool on the stage on July 21. After the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he joined the BJP after overcoming the illusion of Trinamool came back from BJP in the face of assembly elections. In all, he changed teams three times in four years.
