After Monday and Tuesday, the roads in North Bengal collapsed again on Wednesday. Due to this, the traffic on National Highway No. 31 has been stopped. Sikkim, Dooars and Darjeeling have lost contact with Siliguri. The administration is trying to remove the landslide during the war. But due to the continuous rain, there have been problems in that case as well. Administration officials could not say how long the suffering would last.
The landslide occurred at the same place on National Highway 10 on Monday and Tuesday night. The communication system of Sikkim with Siliguri was closed. Numerous vehicles stopped on National Highway 10. The administration is quickly trying to normalize the situation. Meanwhile, a landslide occurred on National Highway 31 on Wednesday morning. Due to the landslides in one or two places, Siliguri’s communication system with North-East India has been completely cut off.
